The Old Brown Jug is a traditional pub / bar in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire; we're renowned for our fantastic live music & Dj nights,
excellent range of drinks & welcoming atmosphere.

'The Jug' as it is affectionally known as by its regulars, has been at the core of Newcastle's pub circuit for around 200 years - welcoming punters young and old to enjoy top quality music &excellent drinks; 

so whether it's a pint of Pedigree or a Grasshopper cocktail you're after, you've come to the right place!

 

And just to prove we serve a top pint, we've been included in the 'prestigous' Good Beer Guide for 8 years running, 2003-2012, also the Good Cider Guide and regularly awarded with Merit by the Potteries Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale.

 

Also, we serve damn good pickled eggs and filled oatcakes!
